Material Applications and Performance Requirements for Lamp Shells

Category:

The headlight housing is made from PC plastic with a molecular weight of 2.0 × 10⁴. During molding, the mold temperature must be maintained between 100°C and 120°C. After molding, the finished product undergoes a stress-relief annealing treatment at 120°C for 2 hours. According to the 2024 technical specifications, the 3mm-thick PC material must meet the following requirements:
Visible light transmittance: 88%-90%
Notch impact strength: 80 kg·cm/cm
Yellow Index change value ΔYI < 1.5
The construction machinery lighting fixtures feature a combined structure consisting of an aluminum alloy lamp housing and a No. 45 steel bracket, with heat sinks securely attached via welding. This design ensures that, under operating conditions of 80°C, the temperature rise of the灯具 does not exceed 15°C. Additionally, the fixture is equipped with a built-in spring system boasting a stiffness coefficient of 12 N/mm, effectively reducing over 60% of vibration energy.
